Malala Yousafzai’s Inspiring Nobel Peace Prize Speech

The 17-year-old Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai has inspired the international community.  She has accepted her Nobel Peace Prize today in Oslo.

She was shot in her head by Taliban in Pakistan when she was 11 years old. She was brought to UK for treatment. After getting treatment she has recovered and she is going to school in UK.

During a powerful speech at the Nobel peace prize ceremony in Oslo, she said: “Why is it that countries which we call strong are so powerful in creating wars but are so weak in bringing peace? Why is it that giving guns is so easy, but giving books is so hard?”
