Amjad Khan’s film on Malala Yousafzai to be shot in Kanpur

Earlier, in one of the post it is being posted that Amjad Khan has plan to make a film on teenage Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai.

Now it is the time when he wants to execute his plan.  According to Amjad Khan’s plan the film will be shot in Kanpur

Amjad Khan will be in Kanpur to seek permission for the shoot of film and to finalise the locations. He is keen to shoot the film in areas like Chamanganj and Beconganj.

Though he knows that hooting in these congested areas is a difficult task but he wants to make the film as realistic as possible.

Amjad Khan has revealed that the shooting will continue for at least 15 days and the shooting will start in May.

He expresses that his film will be a tribute to this teenage education activist Malal Yousafzai that she has proved her courage and ambition without the concern of age.

“At the moment we cannot disclose who will be playing Malala’s role but yes, actors like Danny, Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, KK Menon and Seema Biswas are playing strong roles in this movie. We will be shooting in Bhuj, Iran and the USA, apart from Kanpur,” Amjad Khan said.

Filmmaker Amjad Khan, further mentioned saying if everything goes according to plan, we will have also have Mel Gibson and Monica Bellucci for playing key roles in the film.

Amjad Khan has decided to donate the first day’s income from the film to Malala’s school in Swat Pakistan.
