BBC Urdu and Express News Collaborate to air Sairbeen

BBC World Service has announced the upcoming launch of BBC Urdu TV programme for the very first time in Pakistan.

The programme will be broadcast with the name Sairbeen, from Monday, 11 February on Pakistan’s private TV channel Express News. This BBC’s new TV programme, Sairbeen will air three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 11:00 pm on Express News in Pakistan.

The programme Sairbeen will present BBC Urdu’s talent and BBC Urdu journalists, with the attachment of the regional knowledge of the BBC Urdu correspondents who are working in Pakistan and throughout the world.

The programme also features regular items covering Pakistan’s latest cultural developments, social-media trends, as well as travel, business and economy.

Working closely with , BBC Urdu will share its editorial skills with Express News TV which ould be beneficial for Express News’ transmission and other processes.

The partnership of BBC Urdu and Express News for a live programme is an appearance and evidence of BBC’s trust on the integrity of Express News.

From many years so many Pakistani people are listening Sairbeen on BBC Urdu radio. Now BBC Urdu and Express News took a step forward and people can see this program on TV.
