Pakistani nation celebrated Quaid’s day on 25th December 2012

Birthday of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was celebrated on 25th of December throughout the country with full zeal and enthusiasm.This year the 137th birth anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah was celebrated.

The ceremony of changing guard was held at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation.

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with the provincial cabinet laid floral wreaths at the Mazar-e-Quaid.

Different Pakistani channels telecast programs on this day according to the importance of the day. In the morning show on Hum TV, Jago Pakistan Jago, the host Fahad Mustafa invited people from various walks of life to discuss the current situation of Pakistan as compared to past.

The guests includes Miss Khurshid Haider senior journalist, Miss Talha Naz from Pakistan Navy, Rao Ahmed Imran commander of Pakistan Navy, Dr Qamar Rizvi ADIG Police and Durdana Butt educationist.

Miss Khursheed Haider said education, health and judiciary system is not organized in our country. She compares Pakistan with Turkey and said the people of Turkey are very disciplines and organized but Pakistan lacks in this issue that generates problems for country.
Dr Qamar Rizvi ADIG Police shared his point of view that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave direction to students with political training. At the time of partition a large number of youth participated. This political training is not being promoted to the students.

Rao Ahmed Imran commander of Pakistan Navy said that they are working for country’s defence. Quaid’s motto was Unity faith discipline. Creation of Pakistan is a great work of our great leader. Quaid-e-Azam said “no power on earth can undo Pakistan”. Pakistan is a nuclear power. Pakistanis should have conviction for Pakistan. They can move to the Journey leading to progress.

Dr Qamar Rizvi ADIG Police said people should realize their sense of responsibility. He said population of Karachi is 20 million and 32oo Police officers are working in Karachi. In this way 1 police officer is available for 600 people. He cannot control 600 people at a time. Sense of responsibility stops any one to commit any crime.

Durdana Butt used to educate the people through TV. She said Pakistanis lack in abiding by rules and regulations. Ideology of Pakistan is very clear. It’s a homeland of Muslims but with tolerance. There should be proper system of law and order. Education system should promote identity of Pakistani nation.

A number of organisations have chalked out programmes to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam.

All commercial and business centres and government and private offices and institutions remained closed as the day was declared a public holiday.

It is result of his struggle that despite opposition from the Congress and British government, Muslims of sub-continent managed to get their own homeland, Pakistan on August 14, 1947.

The Quaid was also the first governor general of Pakistan. Jinnah died on September 11, 1948, just over a year after Pakistan.

There is a desperate need to be loyal and sincere with Pakistan and do much efforts for the prosperity of our beloved country.
