Faizan Peerzada of Rafi Peer died of Heart Attack

411365-simsimhamara-1342883628-622-160x120The director and CEO of Rafi Peer Theatre (RPT), Faizaan Peerzada has passed away due to heart attack. He had a minor heart attack in morning and was on way to hospital but could not survive.

Faizan’s sister Tasneem Peerzada told that that her brother never had heart problem before. It was his first heart attack.

Faizaan Peerzada, was 54 years old famous Pakistani for giving popularity to puppet shows in Pakistan and organizing workshops under Rafi Peer Theatre.


He belongs to highly admired Peerzada family. He gained popularity for promoting Pakistan’s puppetry culture all across the world.

Faizaan Peerzada was a graduate of National College of Arts. He had held around 60 exhibitions at national and international level.

Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop was owned by the Peerzadas and Faizaan Peerzada was a leading force behind this.
He had also remained popular for biggest international news channels for his Urdu interpretation of “Sesame Street”, the “Sim Sim Hamara” show.
