Ali Zafar has played rhythmic guitar for his younger brother Danyal in Beacohouse Lahore

Famous Pakistani singer Ali Zafar visited Beaconhouse in Lahore. He was invited by the faculty on an event, the “Battle of the Bands”. The school annually hosts the event where young rock musicians showcase their talent.

Ali Zafar has been the student of Beacohouse, in Lahore where he had topped in his 10th grade.

Ali Zafar’s young brother Danyal, is a musician who performed “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd and during performance he invited Ali Zafar to join him on stage.

Ali Zafar played the rhythm guitar for his younger brother, Danyal while he Daniyal sang the lead. Later, Ali Zafar was invited to come on stage and say a few words.

In his speech, he appreciated and encouraged all participants and their performances. He suggested that music should be taught as a proper subject from the beginning in schools and that his school Beaconhouse, being a progressive in Pakistan, should take the initiative.

He showed his wish in front of the crowd to see both boys and girls learn and play music. He has been advocate of human rights and now he is supporting for a progressive and balanced education system in Pakistan.
