Pakistan set another world record as around 24,200 Pakistani students in Punjab formed the world’s largest human national flag at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore, during the Punjab Youth Festival on Monday.

Pakistan set this world record, smashing a five-year-old record set in the 2007 by 21,726 people in Hong Kong.

A total of 24,200 people stood up in the national hockey stadium holding green and white boxes and  they were enthusiastically making their maximum efforts to organize the boxes to form the Pakistani flag.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Gareth Deaves announced the result and the pleasure of Pakistani nation was touching the sky.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Gareth Deaves said “It’s amazing, display of unity of 24,200 people here in Lahore tonight making the world’s largest human national flag.”
 
“Every single one of you holds this record,” Guinness World Records adjudicator Gareth Deaves said.

He handled over the certificate to Punjab provincial government representative Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.

On Saturday evening, 42,813 people in the same stadium set world’s record of singing the national anthem together, smashing the previous India’s record of 15,243.
