Youm-e-Dua (day of prayer) observed in Pakistan for Malala Yousufzai

Pakistani authorities on Thursday appealed people across Pakistan to observe Friday as “Youm-e-Dua” (day of prayer) for the recovery of 14 years rights activist Malala Yousufzai.

She is currently fighting the battle for life after being shot in the head during a killing attempt by the Taliban.

She has been shifted to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in Rawalpindi. She is on ventilator in the children’s ITC. Doctors said that next 36- 48 hours are very important for the life of Malala Yousafzai.

Special prayers for early recovery of Malala Yousafzai are being offered in government offices, educational institutions and other offices.

Special prayers are offered during the morning assembly at all educational institutions for Malala  Yousafzai and her two friends who were injured in Tuesday’s attack.

  

Christian community leader, Kamran Michael said that special prayer services would be arranged in Churches on Sunday for the speedy recovery of Malala Yousafzai.
