Peshawar: 15 people wounded in anti-Islam film protest

In Peshawar 15 people were wounded in protest against anti-Islam film. Three police officers were also included.

These people have received different kinds of wounds like bullet wounds, stone wounds beaten by sticks etc. Tear gas was also used in protest.

A policeman opened fire in the protest and a driver who was working for private TV station ARY, wounded badly.

He is in critical condition. He is hooked up to a ventilator to take breath.

Senior ARY executive Owais Tohid told, “we consider this incident murder. We strongly condemn it. The policeman involved in the firing incident should be arrested immediately and sacked.”
