Pakistan Defence Day on 6th September

- Pakistani

Pakistanis celebrate defence day on 6th September. Pakistanis celebrate this day in the memory of martyred people who gave sacrifices of their life for the defence of the country (Pakistan).

In 1965 a war started between Pakistan and India. The Indian Army crossed the Wagah border at 4 a.m. and moved towards Lahore.

Pakistan and India, both countries fought that war for the issue of Kashmir but this issue remained unsolved. A lot of people were being killed.

This war was ended on 6th September and both countries stopped damaging each other by using weapons etc. That’s why Pakistanis celebrate Defense Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 6th September.

On this day there is public holiday in Pakistan. Pakistanis tell to their citizens that how brave soldiers sacrifice their lives for the country. People pray for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.

The President, Prime Minister and many ministers of Islamic Republic of Pakistan address to Pakistanis on 6th September from special functions of Defence Day. These functions are broadcasted live by PTV (Pakistan Television).

Lets pay the tribute to our brave soldiers who embraced martyr for their country. Every Pakistani must be wise and brave like martyred people.
Our country is a great blessing for every Pakistani. Its protection is our responsibility. Everyone should be ready for offering sacrifice of life for Pakistan at the time of need.

May Allah bless our Pakistan with progress and prosperity. May Allah help our sisters and brothers who are in Kashmir to get freedom.
