Haider Ali Pakistani athlete: Aims to Set New World Record in Paralympics 2012

Haider Ali is an all-around Pakistani athlete, who belongs to Pakistani city Gujranwala. Haider Ali suffers from Cerebral Palsy.
Haider Ali will participate in the Long Jump, 100 and 200 metres race.

Haider Ali won the country’s first ever Paralympic games medal, a silver medal.
Haider Ali also participated in three other events which are 100 m, 200m and Discus Throw.

Haider Ali won the following medals.

•     Silver medal in 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. Haider Ali took part in F-37/3 Category men’s long jump covering a distance of 6.44 meters.
•     wo medals at the 2010 Asian Para Games held in Guangzhou, China.
•     Gold medal in F 38 Long jump event in 2010 Asian Para games.
•     A gold medal in long jump at KL’06 FESPIC Games in Malysia(2006)
•     A bronze medal in the T-38 100m in 2010 Asian Para games.

Haider Ali is very enthusiastic and motivated to win gold medal at the London Games. He hopes to give pride to his country by winning gold medal. May Allah bless him and enable him to make his dreams come true.
