Today’s Pakistan: Darkness and bad governess

- Pakistani

The Independence Day of Pakistan is celebrated on 14 August to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence from British Raj. This year Pakistanis will celebrate 65th anniversary of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with other great leaders worked hard for the creation of separate homeland for Muslims and implemented the dream of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Their sacrifices are really remarkable.

Pakistan is so far from the ideals for which it was created. It was created as an enlightened Pakistan. Now Pakistan is not in the safe hands. Its ruling elites are corrupt and incompetent and they are not loyal to the country. Pakistan is on the verge of political and economic collapse.

If we analyse the present Pakistan with last few years we would be able to realize that despite to progress Pakistan is going downfall rapidly.
Pakistan is facing challenging situations and here is no leader who can hear voices of Pakistani mass and facilitate them. It is difficult for a Pakistanis to survive but leaders have no concern and they are happy with their wealth and facilities.

Most of the Pakistanis are moving to other countries. Even if they have to work hard abroad still they prefer than starving in Pakistan. The ex-Prime minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gilani was asked why so much Pakistanis wish to flee from the country and he answered that if they wish they can go, he did not show any concern. This is obviously a sad condition that a leader has no concern with the mass.

There is a need to set the country on a course for which it was created. Pakistan is created in the name of Islam. Quaid-e-Azam said in one of his address “We want a separate country for Muslims where they can live according to the principals of Islam”.

It is necessary to save Pakistan for the glory of Islam. When Pakistan came into existence in 1947, Muslims throughout the world celebrated and looked upon it as a “fort of Islam.”

Now Pakistani rulers have been busy in demolishing its foundations and Islamic rules are not being obeyed as they should be.
There is a need to make the Islamic foundations strong in our country. Such committees should be established to take strict actions on violation of Islamic rules.

For a prosperous Pakistan it is necessary to remove the gap between rich and poor. Pakistan needs loyal and sincere leaders. Present leaders should be removed from power. Such leaders should be selected who revive the spirit for which Pakistan was created.

There are positive developments in the country which are helpful to put the country on the right track. Pakistani students are very hardworking and intelligent; there is a need to guide them to put their efforts on the right directions.

Let’s pray for the prosperity and progress of our beloved country Pakistan.
May Allah almighty protect Pakistan with sincere and loyal leaders and keep it away from the bad ailment of corruption.
