Involvement of Students is an Effective Behavioural Management Approach for Better Classroom Management

- Pakistani

Classroom Management is an essential part of teaching, learning process. Rules and regulations are the basic element of effective classroom environment. For maintaining classroom discipline it is necessary to involve students while making their class rules rather than imposing typical rules upon them. My research shows that if students are involved in rules making process the rule violation rate is less to a great extent. If it is tried to consider students’ interest and willingness they will participate in the class enthusiastically. This process will help the teacher to minimise the students’ behavioural problems and he/she will get the students maximum attention. Involvement of students in rule making process can be applied at primary level and also on secondary level.
